College State has launched a new Cybersecurity Certificate designed to prepare students for entry-level technology roles and continued study in information technology.
The program introduces students to network fundamentals, secure systems, risk assessment, ethical practices, and the tools used to identify and respond to digital threats. Courses are available in flexible formats to support working adults, recent high school graduates, and current students adding a credential to an existing program of study.
The certificate was developed with input from local employers and technology professionals to align coursework with regional workforce needs. Students can complete the certificate on its own or apply credits toward a related degree pathway.
Cybersecurity touches every industry. This certificate gives students a practical starting point for a field that continues to grow.
