College State Foundation Announces New First-Generation Student Scholarships

The College State Foundation has announced a new scholarship fund for first-generation college students beginning this fall.

The fund will provide renewable awards to students who demonstrate financial need, academic promise, and a commitment to completing a degree or certificate. Scholarship recipients will also be connected with advising, mentoring, and student support resources during their first year.

The initiative was created through gifts from alumni, employees, and community partners who want to reduce financial barriers and help more students build momentum toward graduation.
